Costco Haul: Summer Edition

Costco Haul: Summer Edition

While this isn’t a compilation of my favorite Costco items, it’s not even what I would normally get while there, but this is what I got today. We’re limiting COVID exposure by doing only pick up at our local grocery store and Costco. So, I don’t get out to the store as much as I did pre-COVID meaning I need to get a bit more than I used to.

Anyway, here’s what I came back with.

The basics of course. Bread, butter, eggs, and milk. We’ve got toddlers who are big fans of each of these staples.

Applesauce, Clif ZBars, and Goldfish, more of the toddler staples. We go through less of these than we normally would since we’re at home, but we throw these into the pool bag or use for backyard picnics. You can eye roll all you want, but I stand by my love for La Croix and have been impressed with Costco’s variety packs recently. They switched it around and the varieties are a lot better. I also grabbed some Premier Protein for my own meal replacements a couple times a week.

Okra and Harvest Snaps make for easy chip substitutions for both toddler and adult meals. I picked up some power greens because this is always on our list and brussels sprouts because it’s the veggie that goes with everything. If you don’t think so, you just aren’t having them cooked right. Also grabbed some Beyond Burger plant-based patties. I’ve never tried them before but want to give them a try. I’m a big fan of Primal Kitchen and this vegan ranch is an easy sauce to have with almost anything, so we usually have it on hand along with mixed nuts for an easy snack.

Fruit. We have a variety on hand but clearly we’re out of apples. Also, Cotton Candy Grapes.

Below you’ll see we stocked up on ground coffee, some toiletry basics and a couple things for the kids.
